In this mountain resort, Bioterra University of Bucharest has a superb pension in Zamora district, located about 500 meters from the recreation center "Zamora", in which you can rent apartments and rooms, both student and family payment conditions. The complex has 50 beds, three kitchens, terraces and a festivity hall.
Busteni city is located in the centrer of Romania (Prahova county), situated along the Prahova river, at the bottom of Caraiman Massif from Bucegi mountains (Southern Carpathians) at an altitude ranging between 830 m and 900 m.
The resort for rest and treatment accessible in all seasons, Busteni has been developed since the second half of the nineteenth century. The tonic and simulative climate, clean air and ozone, which is rich in ultraviolet rays is recommended for the treatment of asthenia neurosis, to invigorate weak bodies for subsequent recovery of physical or mental exertion, for the treatment of the growing problem of children and convalescence and so on.
Busteni resort is a starting point for excursions in the mountains, preserving many quirks of nature such as: Babele - forms molded by the wind in Bucegi Massif, Sphinx - the result of combined action of wind, rain and snow, gorges and caves and so on. The resort is connected to the Bucegi plateau by a funicular opened on 11 August 1978. Busteni is the most modern ski trail in the country and from south-eastern Europe.

1. Princely Church (Biserica Domneasca)
Built in 1889, founded by King Charles I and Queen Elizabeth, is distinguished by its special architecture, interior amenities (original icons are painted inside George Tattarescu) and its age.
2. House of Cezar Petrescu writer
Built in 1918 (traditional architecture).
3. Cantacuzino Castle
Built in 1910 by Gheorghe Cantacuzino.
4. Heroes Cross
The Heroes Cross is known as the Cross on Caraiman, a monument built between 1926 and 1928 by Her Majesty Queen Mary for the heroes of the people who died on the battlefield in the Prahova Valley during World War I. Unique monument in the country and the symbol of Busteni, Heroes Cross is the highest in Europe being situated at an altitude of 2291 m, with a height of 33 m and a width of 14 m and is located on a high concrete pedestal of 15 m.
